The Auberge de Castille is located at the highest point in Valletta, overlooking the nearby Grand Harbour. It was originally built to accommodate knights of the Order of Saint John. It was remodelled in the Spanish Baroque style in the mid-18th century, after which it served as the Headquarters of the British Armed Forces in Malta. Today it houses the Office of the Prime Minister of Malta.
