Bridge over the Linn Of Dee, Aberdeenshire
Scotland

A Linn is a Scottish Gaelic word describing a waterfall running through a narrow gorge.

The Linn of Dee is traversed by a bridge opened by Queen Victoria in 1857. The area, part of the National Trust for Scotland's Mar Lodge Estate in the Cairngorms National Park, is renowned for it's regenerated Caledonian pine woodland, rare wildlife and beautiful scenery.
