Church A Erdemli Vr Mersin 138
Turkey

The columns of the church in a basilica form with three naves, which was built in the name of Georgios, Konon Christophoros, are totally lost. Apart from the three doors on the western wall of the church, people could enter into the building through the northern and southern gates. Because of the bonding styles used behind the apse, it is dated to the second half of the 5th century or to the 6th century AD. Even though the text cannot be easily read, an inscription revealed in the structure states that some person named Kom(idas) Matronianos had the church built.
