A stately church famous for the screens which surround the chantry chapel of Lord Bardolph who was a knight who fought at Agincourt and was Chamberlain to Henry VI. He and his wife are carved in alabaster and painted.
There are other fine memorials in the church together with superbe poppyhead carvings and three decker pulpit
Among the famous carvings of animals are to be foud a giraffe, a pelican and a sciapod (a mythological creature that was believed to use its enormous foot to shelter under)
