No snow this winter, only thick fog down in the valley. Not so on Kaiserstuhl. Almost all of the small mountains rise above the sea of fog, giving a wonderfull mood shortly before the sunset.
Kaiserstuhl is an ancient volcano in the upper rhine valley close to the border to france. Eichelspitze is it's second highest summit, occupied by a steel tower partly financed by a telephone company. It's not very nice, hence I didn't include it in the image...
