Church and bell tower were built in 1754. Throughout its history, the temple was restored many times (end of the XIX century., 1920, 1970 and 2000s), were completed and understood the extension, but now the church has its original appearance.
More interesting and very unusual is the real story of the church. Everyone knows that the restoration of architectural sights state funds practically does not emit so Komarno residents only as a role model, is difficult to call. And when you consider that the restoration of the church come together to Greek Catholic and Orthodox communities, the surprise is no limit. All work on the restoration carried out at the expense of local people, and only last year came from the state aid in the amount of 5,000 hryvnia.
Such activity for the conservation of the temple would be easy to understand if there was no where to hold services. But next to the wooden stands a large stone church, St. Michael, too, was built in 1910. And if we consider that the selection of materials and craftsmen community approached very carefully, it is worth deep respect.
Appearance of the temple and the bell tower is already beautiful, and the interior of the church is still waiting for their turn.
Requires reconstruction iconostasis, old icons from which are now in the Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. Now set the new images.
On the walls you can still see the old paintings that are not in the best condition, but believe that the interior of the church, in the near future, will also have a decent view of the sights.
