At the end of the Stade in Folkstone, the walk continues round into Wear Bay where the under cliff archways have been built to provide ideal little areas for sunbathing and picnics on the beach.  Looking back to the town centre the Hotel can be seen above the railway bridge that extends out between the Inner and Outer harbours.
