The first installations of the School of Architecture (ESBAP) were located at Avenida Rodrigues de Freitas, headquarters of the School of Fine Arts of Porto. In 1979, the Faculty of Architecture became part of the University of Porto, with the consequent change of facilities near the new university center in the area of Rua do Campo Alegre

First phase: In 1984, the Faculty of Architecture moved to an old remodeled villa on Rua do Gólgota.

Second Phase: In 1985-86 Siza Vieira designed the Carlos Ramos pavilion as an intermediate solution.

Third phase: 1986-96 The new college building, the current building
