Rocky Point Lookout
Victoria
Rocky Point marks the spot where the waves crash onto Torquay Surf Beach, delineating Torquay from Jan Juc. The vistas here are breathtaking, offering a genuine glimpse of the rugged coastline stretching hundreds of kilometers to the west along the Great Ocean Road. On the eastern side of Rocky Point, beginner surfers and local youngsters take advantage of the consistently gentle, small waves at Surf Beach. Meanwhile, casting your gaze westward, you'll spot seasoned surfers tackling the larger swells at Jan Juc Beach. Despite its location in Jan Juc, Rocky Point sits right on the cusp of Torquay, affording more of a view of Torquay than of Jan Juc.
