It is the largest catholic church in Liepāja, anyone can lit a candle and place it by the altar and enjoy the harmony of sacral art elements accumulated in the church over centuries. It used to be a very small church, but in the 19th century it was reconstructed to its present size and shape.
Liepaja is a beautiful and versatile city that unites the easy and uneasy heritage of the recent centuries, freedom and air of a seaport and pride for so many talented musicians and composers that came from here.
