It is located 20 km to the north of Ayaş Town, 2 km to the northeast of Veyselli Neighborhood and 3 km to the southeast of Yeniyurt Neighborhood. Kamas River flows on the outskirts of the site. The area was settled during the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine Periods. On the steepest slope of the fortress, which bears three circular towers in total, there hangs a relief of a soldier holding a spear in his hand. The techniques implemented and materials used in the construction of the walls indicate that the fortress was repaired in different periods of time. Only few of the architectural structures around the fortress remained standing to present day. There are some sarcophagi, a necropolis area, a church in basilica form and a number of houses within the borders of the archeological site. The monumental tomb placed on the outskirts of the fortress is particularly interesting.
