Zug, Switzerland, is rapidly expanding and therefore there are constantly construction projects across the town. It is not unusual to see cranes spread everywhere.

This panorama from 2011 was taken next to one such construction projects on a bicycle track. Note the many cranes used for construction. The fence was painted as part of an official painting competition to add some colour. The mountain you see in the distance is Rigi and in front of that is Zug main station with tracks continuing from there to Luzern and Milan. In the other direction, the tracks take you to Baar and from there to Zurich.
