Canion da Cassorova em Brotas SP
Brotas SP

A idéia de introduzir o Canionismo no Brasil (1989) partiu de um grupo de espeleólogos paulistas, entre eles Nelson Barreta, Marisa Góes e Carlos Zaith, que decidiram prosseguir

com as explorações inventariando suas descobertas e divulgando o novo desporto.

Zaith fez um cadastro que soma, ordenadamente, mais de 5000 quedas d’água e 200 cânions no Brasil.

O nome “H2Omem” foi idéia de Zaith inspirado no poema homônimo de Arnaldo Antunes que cedeu graciosamente o direito de uso quando conheceu a nossa proposta.

Brotas is located in the center of São Paulo, in the heart of one of the most developed regions of the country, but still presents us with their wealth and natural beauty preserved.
