The Da Dong Park, originally named Jhong Jen Park, was built in 1981. With a recreational area and green zone of 9.7 hectares, the park is located at the core of the Fengshan District. It is a place where facilities for a series of recreational activities such as the Da Dong Cultural Center, Fengshan Stream and the park are connected by the MRT. An urban outdoor recreational zone is thus formed. The park is a small scale forest retreat in the middle of the city, infusing natural energy and fresh air into the city. An activity center, a school for the senior citizens, pagodas, and various other facilities can be found in the park.
