Die Rennläufer beobachten im Startbereich den Start der Männer und warten auf ihren Lauf. Vom Startzelt aus nach links: Hana Wiechers arbeitet an der Handzeitnahme, Danny Weinzierl (Notfall Rettungsweste), Steffi Flöry als Cheftorrichterin (kurze Haare, schwarze Sonnenbrille), Philipp Lucas (kniend, gelber Hoody, sein Spitzname Polo), Jens Weichselgaertner (weißer Helm, schwarze Jacke) und hinter dem Rennläufer mit der grünen Bommelmütze stehend der Kopf von Hannes Stepp, Streckenchef.
Der Rennläufer, der gerade startet ist Matthias Uhlig, vom Skiverein Illmenau im Osten Deutschlands, Rang 41 in diesem Rennen. Im Lauf ist schon Fynn Dierkesmann und zeigt seinen tollen Fahrstil, Rang 6 in diesem Rennen und vom Ski Team Freiburg, Ski Club Freiburg.
Thomas Schneck (kniend auf der Höhe von Tor 5 vor den Bäumen) beobachtet das Rennen wie meist ein Stück unterhalb des Startbereichs und macht seinen Job als Wettkampfleiter.
