Fernando Pessoa is one of the most read and dearest poets of the Portuguese literature. Wrote with three personalities, Alberto Caeiro, the campesino sensationalist,Ricardo Reis, a doctor neo-classical, and Alvaro de Campos, the extrovert engineer, are the heteronyms of Fernando Pessoa, who was born June 13, 1888 in Lisbon, Portugal.
He was a poet, writer, literary critic and translator, and one of the most important figures of twentieth-century literature. He died on November 30, 1935 in Lisbon.
