Funfair rides in Chavasse Park, Liverpool, one month before christmas. The city centre Chavasse Park is built on top of the car park at Liverpool One, and was named after a local war hero, Noel Godfrey Chavasse, who was "twice" awarded the Victoria Cross. It is also now the home of the "Peace and Harmony" monument, a European Peace Monument dedicated to John Lennon.
