Lookout point at the top of Mannlichen, a mountain in the Interlaken area of Switzerland. As you can see from the photo, this is a very popular area for paragliding, especially on a beautiful summerday such as this one.  The high peaks towards the South are (from left to right) Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, which are amongst the most famous mountains in Switzerland.  Looking down, you can see Lauterbrunnen, the gateway into this part of the Alps.  If you look carefully, you can see the Staubbachfalls, the largest falls in Switzerland, just above Lauterbrunnen.  You will notice it close to the church in Lauterbrunnen.  Mannlichen can be easily reached through a cablecar from Wengen, a popular car-free holiday destination in the area. Towards the north-west, you see a glimpse of Thunersee.
