After living in the Niseko Hirafu area for a long time i'd never hiked the peak Weiss but finally made it up there this week.

Great perspective shift from my usual Mt Annupuri POV.

Looking at the northface of Mt Annupuri it's hard not to be impressed.

The autumn colours are looking cool and walking along some of the trails is a bit like being in a huge kaleidescope !

The lifts in Weiss have been closed for years now but there are a couple snow cat operations running in winter and i'm told well worth checking out.
