The old railway tunnel from 1887 goes under the entire down town of Karlskrona. The tunnel was originally designed for heavy transports to the shipyard, but were during World War II built out to a complete underground system consisting of command posts and bombshelters, a total of 54000 square feet. The panorama is taken at the south entrance and one can glimpse Hoglands Park at the other end.
