The Agrotourism unit developed at the Quinta with a capacity of 10 accommodation units was complemented in 2006 with the creation of Country Houses with a capacity of 7 accommodation units. Throughout its activity, it has invested heavily in agriculture and livestock, being its agrotourism activity combined with forestry activities, namely olive growing, almond groves, extensive pastures and permanent watered meadows. The herd (335 animals) of churras sheep from the “Terra hot Transmontana” feed exclusively on the lands of the Qt.a of Barracão da Vilariça, all crops and livestock are exploited in organic production.
In the Quinta's aviary, various chickens are raised extensively for self-consumption (family and meal service for guests).
As a whole, the farm covers an area of 97.5 ha, all of which are irrigated (irrigation perimeter of the Vilariça valley), integrated into the extensive area surrounding the tourist hunting area of Vilariça (proc.7464D6F) with a useful area of over 1000 Ha.
