The ancient Hatu Mata Temple located on Hatu Peak is a famous landmark in the Narkanda region. The temple can be reached by a narrow motorable road in late Spring and Summer. In winter the road to Hatu peak is covered in snow as seen in the panorama and the only way to reach it is by trekking over the snow covered trail.
