This is Saint Peter’s Church, and graveyard, a very grand Victorian Gothic revival building which is a grade one listed building. In the foreground you can see the tomb of the Shelley family. Buried here are Mary Shelley she wrote Frankenstein, her mother Mary Wollstonecraft the feminist writer, her father William Godwin the philosopher, her husband’s heart (possibly), Percy Bysshe Shelley the poet, and her son Percy Florence Shelley and his Wife.
