Papago Park is a huge outdoor complex located on the east side of Phoenix, Arizona USA between Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. It has about 1200 acres (490 hectares) and is mostly hilly desert. With its distinct rock hills and desert plants is is a hugely popular place to hike and picnic. It has several large developments including the Desert Botanical Garden, Hunt's Tomb, the Phoenix Zoo. The Tempe Papago Park features baseball fields and a small lake.
