Villa d’Este is a famous Renaissance villa built for Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este, a son of Lucrezia Borgia. Even more famous than the villa is the garden, that was built in the style of Mannerism. The garden is famous for its fountains. You can see the Fontana di Nettuno and one level above it parts of the Fontana dell’Organo.
