Trullhalsar
Gotland
Trullhalsar contains about 350 visible graves from the 7th and 8th century AD. The deceased was usually cremated along with his or her belongings. The remains of the funeral pyre were covered with stones. Many of the graves were then edged with a low dry-stone wall. Sometimes a spherical stone was laid on top. There are also other kinds of graves at Trullhalsar, such as stone circles and standing stones.
