Pt. 7200' (7200'/2195m) summit (gigapixel)

Gigapixel view from the summit of Pt. 7,200 (elev. 7,200'), also known as the Castle Crags Wilderness high point located west of Dunsmuir, California.  The mountain is easily accessible from the Gray Rock Lake trailhead, to which one can ascent directly up the rocky face from the upper lake.  Views are expansive from Mount Shasta being prolific to the northeast, Lassen Peak in the distant southeast (w/ the impressive Castle Crags in the foreground), the Trinity Alps to the southwest & Mount Eddy to the northwest.  From here it was ridge skirting toward Scott Lake before tagging the unnamed Pt. 7,070 directly north.
