Lefkada is an island you can drive to. Its so close to the mainland that it is connected by road. It naturally creates a channel that ships can cross. Traffic stops, the floating bridge turns and ships can pass. The location is called Ammoglossa meaning sand tongue and it is a great place for a swim. This pano was taken on top of the wall built to stop waves from damaging the channel.
