A view of the entrance to Spooky Canyon, a slot canyon in the Afton Canyon area near Baker, California.  The canyon is easily accessed from a jeep trail & underneath the railroad tracks as it follows a wash before tightening into pitch darkness.  It is a fun slot canyon to explore in the Mojave Desert & a good shade from the intense sun.  Unlike the slot canyons of the Colorado Plateau, this one formed through cemented alluvium.
