Bray Head Watchtower, Valentia Island, County Kerry, Ireland
Ireland
This watchtower was built in 1806 as part of a network of signal towers to give advance notice of a possible Napoleonic invasion. These towers were built from Malin Head right down along the west and southern coasts and up the Irish Sea coast as far as Dublin.
