Among the most recognized ports in Latin America is the port of Buenaventura, which has been subject to evaluation due to its privileged geographical location and its progress. First, it is located in the department of Valle del Cauca, near the main sea routes that cross the planet in all directions, from north to south and from east to west, thus becoming one of the most recognized ports on the continent .  In addition, it is positioned at a good level of competitiveness thanks to its offers vis-à-vis the international market and national recognition as an economic export zone. This port is the most important on the Pacific coast due to the volume of cargo it handles, which has a specialized infrastructure for handling containers, grains, bulk cargo and multipurpose.
