On May 12, 2018, the territory of the former Barnaul Silver Factory was partially cleared. About 80 people took part in this event. Barnaul Silver Factory was city-forming enterprise for barnaul, but now it is the complex of monuments of federal significance. This complex need restoration, but it may suffer from the construction and functioning of a shopping center nearby. Such events like that teach people of Barnaul to appreciate their history and take care of its preservation.
