Dead Horse State Park
The Dead Horse State Park sits near Moab, in Utah, USA. It overlooks the Colorado River with (at that time of the year) green color that sticks out from the red rock around it. The viewpoint has a very narrow neck on one side and got its name from cowboys who chased wild mustangs out on this point with no way to escape. They captured the horses they wanted and let the others there to die. Nowadays, there are no mustangs to be seen anymore, only the spectacular views over the high desert.
