Aussichtsturm Donautal Offingen - Ansicht von unten

Seit Mai 2006 gibt es auf einer Anhöhe zwischen Offingen und Günzburg den 25 Meter hohen Aussichtsturm am Hang zum Donautal. Man hat von dort bei gutem Wetter einen herrlichen Rundblick ins Donautal und auf die Schwäbische Alb. Den kostenlosen Ausblick kann man allerdings erst geniesen wenn man die 128 Stufen zur Plattform erklommen hat. Der Turm kostete ca. 120.000 € und wurde unter anderem mit EU-Mitteln finanziert.

 Offingen hatte übrigens bereits zu Zeiten der Römer einen Aussichtsturm.
