Empire Square

The Empire Square, located in the tourist area of Belém in Lisbon, Portugal, Europe, it was built during the Second World War which took place in 1940, the Portuguese World Exposition, sought to commemorate the 800 years of the Independence from Portugal. The Empire Square is constituted by a green space, with characteristic vegetation of the Portuguese landscape, three lakes, one of which with Luminous Fountain, and the pavement is in genuine Portuguese sidewalk.
