Falkirk - The Kelpies, View 1
In Scottish mythology a kelpie is a water spirit that can shift shape. It lives in lochs and pools. Every proper Scottish loch is reported to host at least one kelpie. The kelpies can shift their shape from horse to human. Andy Scott, the creator of the Falkirk kelpies has favored to horse shape over the supposedly quite attractive human shape. The Falkirk Kelpies are 30 metres high and were opened to the general public in 2013.
