A 200' aerial view looking over the unincorporated community of Forks of Salmon, California.  Originally a California Gold Rush settlement, the town is named from the meeting of the North & South Forks of the Salmon River.  The rivers have a distinct color difference, the South Fork being an opaque pea green while the North Fork a clear jade green.
