With Arber-Bergbahn the lifts on the Great Arber are referred to in the Bavarian Forest. It consists in the winter operation of a six-person gondola, two six-seater chair lifts, three ski lifts and four magic carpets and, with the built in 1999 six-person gondola to the most modern cable cars in Germany.
In summer mode the gondola hikers and day trippers promoted to the summits of the Great Arber. In good weather you have a splendid view of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest, at Foehn weather even up to the Alps.
