The Haipu Presbyterian Church at Hunei has stood since 1910. Over the past century, it went through four renovations and reconstructions. It was built first with bamboo and straw; subsequently, it was rebuilt with stones and roof tiles. In 2000, it was renovated with a large rough stones, which express the importance of a stable foundation for the church. The stained glasses were made with a six-step process consisting of three times of coloring and three times of baking. Various religious gatherings and events are held in the church.
