In der Dunkelklamm

Die Seisenbergklamm bei Weißbach ist 600 m lang und 50 m tief. Sie wurde 1831 erstmals durch Holzknechte begehbar gemacht. Heute ist die Klamm ein Naturdenkmal des Landes Salzburg. 1916 zerstörte ein Hochwasser die Steiganlagen durch die Klamm völlig. Erst 1925 konnte die Klamm wieder gegangen werden.

Die Dunkelklamm ist der hintere Teil der Seisenbergklamm. Die Klamm ist sehr schmal, an der engsten Stelle lediglich 80 cm. Es fällt wenig Licht in die Dunkelklamm.
