Kako Paru (Jasper Creek), Great Savannah, Canaima National Park (Venezuela)

Located in the Eastern Sector of Canaima National Park (or The Great Savannah) is one of the most famous places of the park, a spring that runs along a smooth and reddish stone of a semi-precious material such as the jasper, element that gives the place its name "Jasper Creek" (Kako Paru in native language pemon).

It is a very beautiful place, surrounded by trees, and where vacationers typically enjoy the slide along the stone of about 300 meters in length, carefully polished by the passage of water whose depth do not exceeds 5 cm.
