It is to the north of Kalınören Neighborhood of Anamur District, Mersin. The name of the city in antiquity is not known. The remains of Kalınören is scattered around a large area in the directions of north and east, and the site is surrounded by fortification walls. The remains are almost lost within the modern settlement of Kalınören. There are two basilica-shaped churches with three naves each and a necropolis area located within the acropolis. Almost all the tombs were built of limestone and in the form of two-tier structures. There stand the remains of two large public baths in the archeological site.
