Karen's Seat, Holm, Orkney

Karen Aim traveld to Taupo in New Zealand and was working in an art gallery there when she was killed. She had made such an impression on the people of Taupo that they had services for her and amongst other things they made this seat which has been place looking down the first barrier in Holm near her family home.

The totem pole nearby was built with the help of local people using traditional first nation techniques.
