Created in the year 1910 being mayor of the city Abelardo Sánchez García. It received in principle the name of Park of Canalejas in memory of the liberal politician and President of the Government Jose Canalejas. Beginning of the green area of the town during the twentieth century. The vegetable wealth of the garden is complemented by ponds, fountains, monuments, various facilities and the Museum of Albacete.
