Loch Ness - Fort Augustus Locks, View 1
The Caledonian Canal connects the west coast of Scotland to the east coast (Inverness to Fort Williams). The total length is 97 kilometers. Most of the water way runs through different lochs. Fort Augustus is located at the western exit of Loch Ness. There is a series of 5 locks in Fort Augustus.
