Looking over Taro valley from the top of mount Prinzera

Mount Prinzera (736 metres) is located on the Parmesan Apennines between the valleys of rivers Taro, Sporzana and Baganza. It is a spur of ophiolitic rocks, ancient mixes of magmatic and metamorphic materials also known as green rocks. Downhill woods, bushes, valleys, untilled, gullies and small damp zones complete a varied environment.

The natural reserve named after the mount, span at an altitude from 300 to the top of the mountain.
