The view towards a half-built MediaCityUK from The Lowry in Salford in spring 2010. When I photographed this there was plenty of construction on both sides of the Manchester Ship Canal… outside the Imperial War Museum on the Manchester bank, and the shiny edifices of the BBC in the North buildings and MediaCityUK studios on the Salford side. Testament to the growth and redevelopment of large swathes of Greater Manchester in the last few years…
