the monument silently decays like the hopes and the dreams of the ones who protested on December 17 1989; among them some died.

technical details:

due to the dramatic difference between the sunny part and the shadows, I took 2 sets of pictures at f 29: one for the shadows which of course had a totally burned sky at 1.6 seconds and the second set with the same stop and the exposure time of 1/30 seconds that brought a blue sky into being but had no details in the shadows. I used PTGUI though I usually do the fusing manually using TUFUSE.
