Salisbury Plain covers nearly 800 km² of southern England. It is a chalk plateau. One of its best known features is Stonehenge. A large part is owned by the Military and used for training and not accessible to the public.
This meadow covered in wild flowers is situated on the northern tip near Westbury, with the Cotswolds in the distance across the valley.
