Tivat, training ship Jadran

Training ship "Jadran" was launched to sea on June the 25th in 1931. It is a sailing vessel with alternative motor power "barcantine" class, 787t of displacement and overall length of 60m, and on the water line 41m. Beam along the main rib is 8.9m, medium draft is 4.35m, main mast height 39.1m. "Jadran" has 12 sails, 4 jibs, 3 gaff sails, 3square sails, 2 gaff top sails, total sailing area of 930m2. Total rope length is 12km. Main engine is "Burmeister" 480hp, so the maximum speed is 12 knots. There are six single, two double and three cabins with four beds, then one cabin with twelve and cabin with thirty beds.
